Dragon Ball (dub) Episode 37 -

Murasaki uses classic ninja tools like makibishi (spikes) and smoke bombs. Goku accidentally steps on the spikes and has to run back to find sandals, but he quickly turns the momentum by breaking Murasaki’s sword with his Power Pole .

In one of the episode's most famous gags, Murasaki tries to hide underwater using a bamboo breathing tube. Goku spots the tube and pours boiling water from a nearby teapot down it, forcing the scorched ninja to leap into the air in pain. Dragon Ball (Dub) Episode 37

Bulma and Mr. Popo travel to the heights of the Yunzabit Heights to find Kami’s old spaceship for the trip to Namek. Murasaki uses classic ninja tools like makibishi (spikes)

If you were looking for Episode 37 of a different Dragon Ball series, the stories are quite different: Goku spots the tube and pours boiling water

The episode concludes on a cliffhanger. After his sword breaks, Murasaki tricks Goku into putting away his Power Pole for a "fair" hand-to-hand fight, only to throw a boomerang shuriken that hits Goku in the back of the head, leaving the young hero in a dangerous spot.

After defeating the metallic giant Sergeant Metallic, Goku enters a pitch-black room where he is ambushed by the "Messenger of Death," . Unlike the life-or-death battles Goku is used to, this fight is a comedic clash of wits and absurdity:

Murasaki attempts to use "expert" ninja camouflage, including hiding behind a transparent sheet printed with a rock pattern. Goku, unimpressed, counts to thirty before immediately finding him.
