(dramacool-sub) The Golden Spoon (2022) Episode 1 -

Tae-yong was the ultimate gold spoon. He was the heir to the massive Doshin Group, living in a sprawling mansion with a cold, all-powerful father who commanded the respect of the entire nation. Tae-yong had everything Seung-cheon lacked: wealth, power, and absolute immunity from the cruelty of the world.

He didn't care what it took. He didn't care if he had to beg, crawl, or lie. He was going to get back inside Tae-yong's house, and he was going to eat those three meals.

Earlier that afternoon, while running away from another brutal encounter with Jang-goon's lackeys, Seung-cheon had stumbled upon a mysterious old woman selling trinkets on the street. Amidst the junk, a gleaming, ornate golden spoon had caught his eye. (Dramacool-SUB) The Golden Spoon (2022) Episode 1

"That spoon is special," the old woman had cackled, her eyes twinkling with an otherworldly knowing. "Buy it for three dollars, and you can change your parents. Eat three meals with it at the house of a child your age, and you will swap lives with them. Their parents will become your parents."

Now, standing in the freezing rain on the bridge, Seung-cheon screamed at the sky, cursing his fate. He looked at the golden spoon in his hand. It was just a useless piece of metal. There was no magic, no escape, no hope. Tae-yong was the ultimate gold spoon

During dinner, surrounded by a feast that cost more than Seung-cheon’s family made in a month, he had nervously pulled out the golden spoon. He was shaking so violently that he dropped it. Tae-yong's terrifyingly cold father, Chairman Hwang Hyeon-do, had looked at him with pure disdain. Seung-cheon was kicked out before he could take a single bite with the spoon. He was exposed, humiliated, and reminded once again of his place at the bottom of the food chain.

He shoved the golden spoon into his pocket and turned away from the ledge. He wasn't going to jump. He was going back to that mansion. He didn't care what it took

Through a stroke of luck and forced proximity, Seung-cheon had managed to get himself invited to Tae-yong’s house under the guise of studying together. Stepping into the mansion was like stepping into another dimension. The floors were marble, the air was perfectly climate-controlled, and the silence was heavy with luxury. But his attempt to use the spoon had been a disaster.
