Growing up, I was always the type of person who tried to do everything perfectly. I was a high achiever, a overachiever, and a people pleaser. I applied this same mentality to my art, spending hours agonizing over every detail, every brushstroke, every color choice. I was convinced that if I could just get it "right," I'd finally be good enough. But the more I tried to control, the more I stifled my creativity.
