In the present day, Ash and his friends arrive in LaRousse City for a tournament. Deoxys regenerates and returns to the city to find a second, dormant Deoxys crystal held in a lab. Deoxys shuts down the city’s power and creates a massive barrier, trapping everyone inside while Rayquaza attempts to break in for a rematch.
