Born in to Moroccan parents, Karim grew up navigating two distinct worlds: his Moroccan heritage at home and his Northern Italian identity in school. He began his musical journey as a self-taught artist, using music to process the emotional weight of losing his father.
Karim’s story reflects the complexities of being a "second-generation" immigrant in Italy. Despite having a typical Northern Italian accent and identifying strongly with Italian culture, he often discusses the feeling of living "in the balance" between two realities.
His music often draws from his diverse influences, ranging from covers of artists like The Weeknd to original works that explore themes of identity.
